Central Iowans are enduring some of the hottest temperatures of the year this week – leaving homeless families and individuals even more vulnerable. Thanks to some of our dedicated volunteers, Joppa was able to provide bottled water and temporary refuge from the heat with our mobile cooling station on Tuesday.
